Mary Coburn is the only officiant on our list of preferred vendors, so that alone speaks to how much we love working with her. She has a way of making each ceremony unique to that couple, which in turn makes it memorable to them and all of their guests. Her belief in the concept that “there are few things better in this world than when people come together to celebrate love” shines through in everything she does! Learn more about Mary on her website here.

Imagine having a wedding ceremony that your family and friends will truly feel a part of and enjoy. I take a new and refreshing approach to creating wedding ceremonies by getting to know who you are and what holds meaning for you. Your ceremony is written for you and about you, celebrating what brought you together and your life going forward. I am not a stuffy person nor do I create stuffy ceremonies. This is a wonderful opportunity to express your personalities and bring your family and friends together while making them feel lifted by the experience. There are few things better in this world than when people come together to celebrate love. I create ceremonies that honor that and as you walk down the aisle your guests will say, “that was the best wedding ceremony I’ve ever been seen!” I am an ordained Inter-faith Minister and Certified Lifecycle Celebrant©, welcoming couples of all backgrounds, beliefs and orientations.

Another of our wonderful preferred vendors, Rob Alberti’s Event Services, has you covered. Their specialties include transforming space, light and sound with their photo booth rentals, event lighting, DJ services and more! We are very happy to work with a vendor who strives to enhance your event in a style that is uniquely you.

We help soul-mates and trend setters create a fun wedding that is not cheesy by transforming their event space with our lighting, entertainment and photo booth.  We keep your guests dancing all night while maintaining true to your personalities and without relying on the chicken dance or embarrassing your guests with corny DJ antics.  Imagine your wedding reception – secure that you have a team of event experts making sure every little detail of your wedding day goes smoothly. No worrying about when you need to cut the cake or if your mother is in the room… we will take care of everything for you that day.  Your guests will have a blast in your photo booth, they will act like paparazzi as they take photos of your reception lighting.  Your guests will tell you that it was the best wedding ever…

Why not tie the knot (on your tie) in a special way for your big day? Check out the Eldredge Tie Knot. Quite a few steps, but an elegant end result.

They’re called Figgie Shoes and we love them. These custom, hand-painted shoes are the artwork of Deborah Thomson, who started Figgie Shoes almost by accident when she painted some shoes for friends! Each pair is completely customized to tell the couple’s personal love story.

We love this form of wearable art and think our Marquee brides would also adore these one-of-a-kind fashion statements! Learn more at the Figgie Shoes website.

Browsing Pinterest on Halloween turned up some rather, um, interesting results… Most of the wedding-related items were a little over the top, but then we came across this beautiful color palette and Halloween wedding inspiration board. Originally designed by One Fab Day, an online wedding magazine based in Ireland, this mood board was even titled perfectly: “Spookishly Chic”. We love the black, grey and peach palette, as well as the elements of fun like Spooky Sweets!

Our new blog series featuring our preferred vendors continues with Azalea Floral Design! As she mentions below, Christine and her team of designers take floral design to a new artistic level by creating “works of living art”. The pictures below speak for themselves. We always look forward to seeing her latest creations for our Marquee weddings and events!

Azalea Floral Design uses the freshest and most beautiful seasonal flowers and foliages to create works of living art. We often incorporate fruits, vegetables, grasses, unique flowers and other unconventional materials to create designs that evoke nature. In late summer and fall we often use locally grown, farm-fresh flowers, berries and branches. Each arrangement’s design is individually conceived to reflect our client’s personality and tastes while also taking into account the aesthetics of its setting. We love getting to know our clients and creating a beautiful experience for them and their guests through our work.

Wedding dishes, a spin on the classic ring bearer pillow, can be and integral part of your wedding ceremony and then a keepsake for years to come. As they become more popular we are seeing not only your standard “To Have and to Hold” style dishes, but also custom dishes with your own phrase or wedding date. Below are some favorites we found on Etsy!
