There are some trends that come our way which we can’t help but love. These chalkboard-style invitations, all from Etsy, fit into that category! Save the dates, wedding shower invites, rehearsal dinners and (of course) wedding invitations all designed with this unique style are memorable and fun at the same time. You can make a first impression event before your event begins!
A step back in time! Our G. Fox & Co. Building is significant for its architecture and downtown Hartford history. This retail establishment, founded in 1847 by Gershon Fox, grew to become the city’s largest department store in the twentieth century.
One of our favorite moments of each wedding celebration here at Marquee is the toast. We love to see the bride, groom and guests laughing and perhaps even shedding a few sentimental tears as favorite stories and best wishes are shared. Here’s to all of our couples – past, present and future!

While Marquee is known for our Art Deco style, usually it’s our crystal chandeliers in the Gershon Fox Ballroom which make the most memorable first impression. An elegant backdrop for any event!
